Greetings,
If a picture tells a thousand words, then a moving picture tells ten thousand. Today I'd like to tell you how to retain visitors to your site, using web video for little or no outlay.
Sincerely,

Increasingly, in recent years, most of the world receives information and entertainment in the form of moving pictures - movies, TV, video games, DVDs etc. Many millions receive their moving pictures via a Broadband connection. It's logical therefore that those of us in business should interact with clients and prospects by way of moving pictures, yet how many of us actually do so?
I'm sure that, like me, you're still finding yourself visiting a site only to be greeted by a wall of text. Few of us now have the time or the inclination to read through seemingly endless reams of corporate gobbledegook about how wonderful this particular company is. "Come on, people," we say, "we want moving pictures - we want to see TV on your web site - otherwise we're leaving the moment we arrive!"
|
Why don't more people have video on their web site?
Well, here are a few of the possible reasons:
-
They think it's too expensive, because it needs TV cameras and an expert crew Wrong!
I'll show you how to make great videos for your web site for little or nothing!
-
They don't know what to put on their video Wrong!
I'll show you how sell without selling, using a really economic web video.
-
They think they'll look foolish or not be shown to their best advantage Wrong!
I'll show you how to look and sound truly professional and confident in your web video.

I've spent some 40 years on both sides of the camera (yes I did start very young!). As an actor I appeared in countless episodes of some of British TV's best loved series like 'The Sweeney', 'Dr Who', 'Minder' and 'Emmerdale'. As a writer and producer I was responsible for numerous corporate videos for clients like IBM, Barclays and BP Oil. For the past 10 years I have been a coach and consultant in personal communication skills for companies like, Cisco Systems, Deutsche Bank, Deloitte, Hanson plc, and UBS.
